How To Pay MBPJ Saman And Get A Discount

So a few days ago, hubs parked his car on a yellow line in PJ.  He couldn’t find any parking spots outside the house where he helped out at the soup kitchen, hence he parked his car at a corner. When he was done for the day, he came out and saw a summon on his windscreen.

It was shocking that the fine is RM100. Hubs asked me to pay it online but I did not want to pay this amount. So I tried looking for ways where I can make a plea. Below are the steps on how to settle the saman online.

Go to https://epay.mbpj.gov.my/auth/login. Sign in if you do not have an account.

2. Once logged in, go to Search and choose Compound. Then key in the Compound number or your car number plate.

3. The said compound will be listed and as you can see, the price has been automatically reduced to RM30 from RM100. I guess if we make payment immediately, a discount will be given.

4. Click on the said compound and proceed to make payment online via credit card or debit card.

When the payment is done, a receipt will be given for you to save and print out. The MBPJ website is user-friendly and easy to make payment. I am glad that we only need to pay RM30 instead of RM100 summon.

      Hi,

You are most welcome. It is very scary to park in PJ now because I also received a fine of RM100 a few weeks ago. The enforcement people act very fast to fine the cars but there are not enough parking spaces for people to park.

    Thank You

      Hi,

I am not too sure about that but you can try going to MBPJ immediately. Maybe if you make payment early, they can offer a discount. Or you can try calling them first.

Thanks for your kind post teaching us to pay to MBPJ online. I parked my car at 5 pm today in yellow line and received kompaun of RM100. Luckily you taught me in your post. I keyed into your link. I followed your step by step guide. Surprise! My kompaun has been reduced to RM10!. I paid in haste using my Debit card. Thanks for your kindness.

I sent my car for coating service they simply parked my car at the road side. I didn’t notice on the same day because there is no summon slip placed on my windscreen. After 3 month+, I received a red letter from MBPJ for RM100 compound. Saw your post but because the compound has exceeded 3 months, so MBPJ system automatically shows me RM100 and need to settle within 14 days as mentioned in the red letter. Your post gave me the insight to call up MBPJ, and yes I did gave it a try and explained to the customer service lady. Finally, I got the rebate and they informed me to wait for one hour and revisit the webpage again. Compound has now updated to RM30. Thanks

Thanks. Very useful and save a lot of hassles not to mention the savings. From rm100 to RM10, better than the discount stated in the compound of 80% if paid within 24 hours.
    Cheers!!! And thanks again

Thanks so much for sharing the tip on paying MBPJ summon. This morning my husband used my car and parked at SS2. He paid parking ticket using the Selangor app but unfortunately forgot to change the vehicle no plate to mine. Got a RM100 love letter from MBP. I just paid RM10 online to MBPJ using your guide. Saved us RM90. Wow, very thankful to you.

Thank you for this step by step guide. I underpaid 2 hours parking zone for 1.5 hours via touch and go app for parking, I was so focused on ensuring I select the right section/ street ( am not from pj and hardly drive out during working hours). So you can imagine, I still got a compound for rm100.. immediately log in to pay, but my deduction is only rm50, still thankful I able to save another rm50 😢

      Hi,

Sorry to hear about your predicament. All these payment apps are rather confusing to use and sometimes not user-friendly at all. Am glad that my guide helped.
