Best Place To Buy Fresh Vegetables Online In Kuala Lumpur

MCO 3.0 has just begun for people residing in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.  With the number of positive cases rising every day, I am not surprised that MCO is imposed.  It is better to keep safe by staying at home and only go out when necessary.  If you are worried about going out especially to do your marketing, well fret not because you can get fresh vegetables delivered right to your doorstep.

I received my veggie box from Farm To Home Delivery recently and I just love how convenient it is to order vegetables that are super fresh.  Best of all, these vegetables are chemical and pesticide-free.  They also have carbon veggies that are planted using a highly sustainable farming method.  What is special about Farm To Home Delivery vegetables is that their quality veggies are super affordable and are pre-washed with Ozone water to clean and maintain the freshness.

I took their Premium Veggie Box plan which cost RM288 per month.  For this plan, I would get 4 free deliveries a month and each delivery is a RM72 veggie box that is worth over RM81 of vegetables.  I get to choose 15 types of vegetables from a list of 33 types of vegetables that are listed in a google form sent to me after I have confirmed the package.

This is my veggie box. For this round, I did not get some of the vegetables that I wanted like the sunflower microgreens, long beans and the Chinese cabbage as I was informed that they were not very fresh.   I appreciate their honesty in informing me instead of just packing them up and sending them to me.

Farm To Home Delivery source their produce from their partners in Cameron Highlands, Mantin as well as local and urban farmers in Kuala Lumpur. I find that their vegetables are cheaper than what I usually buy from the supermarket and they are also a lot fresher.  I just stir-fried the french beans last night and hubs commented that they are so fresh and sweet.  I didn’t get a chance to take a nice photo of the french beans dish as they were chomped down real fast.

I saw a recipe on Tik Tok recently on cooking fried oyster mushrooms with butter and garlic sauce so I decided to cook that on the day I received my veggie box.

Fresh oyster mushroom

Slice them thinly and fried with oil.  When done, dish them out and fry some chopped-up garlic and shallots with butter.   Then add the mushrooms back to the pan and mixed everything up.

Here is the Butter Garlic Oyster Mushroom dish. The mushrooms are so fresh, soft and tasty.  Everyone loved it.
