Fun River Cruise In Sibu

During my trip to Sibu at the end of October, my friends and I went on a Sunset boat cruise along the Sg. Rejang. The boat cruise started at 6.30pm until 7.30pm. We had a marvelous time soaking in the golden hues of the sunset. Love the breathtaking views and the boat was playing the songs from the 80’s so we all sang along loudly.

The Rejang river is the longest river in Sarawak and also Malaysia (560km). This mighty river is also a crocodile-infested river. Thank God we didn’t see any crocodiles when we were there.

At the entrance where we waited for the boat to arrive, there was this signboard showing the fee for the cruise. Can you spot anything?

The fee is cheaper if you are a Sarawakian. Other Malaysians have to pay a higher price for the cruise. Meh. That makes us feel like we don’t belong although we are all Malaysians. Funny right?

The sun was setting while we waited to board that cruise.

This is the boat that we went on. This photo was taken from the Facebook page.
