under the weather

Ashley came down with fever on Tuesday afternoon. By the time we got to the paed, her fever shot up to 39.3 degree Celsius. She looked tired but still got the energy to play at the toy section of the clinic. Her paed said her throat is slightly red but the fever is due to viral infection. She inserted a suppository for her.  Ashley looks better today but still feverish.  She’s also starting to cough more and sounds like a very phlegmy kinda cough 🙁

Also boiled a packet of “Ling Yeong Sai Kok” for her to drink yesterday.  She said it’s yucky.

Oh fever, fever please go away.

I wonder what’s with the weather nowadays. Both my kids are coughing too. The younger one has thick phlegm and it sounds real uncomfortable and irritating to my ears.

Hope Ashley has a speedy recovery. Take care!

lots of kids always get sick during durian season. Hope Ashley is better now.

  19. Alice says:

Agreed! Lots of kids get sick, I blame the weather, it is very foggy every morning, not the good ’embun’ fog, but more like haze result from open burning. My girl got sore throat, on and off with white dots. I heard ling yong is good for sore throat. Try Manuka honey too, Sarah’s mummy gave her that too 😛
