decorating her room

A couple of months ago, I found some really nice wooden alphabet door plaques that was on sale at  Mothercare.  I quickly looked into the bin to find A-S-H-L-E-Y.  Alas, I could only find the letter H.  So I thought nevermind, just put an H on her room door since that’s her first alphabet of her surname.

Some time later, hubs brought us to BSC (our first time there since its renovation) as he wanted to look for cigars and I found the letters A and S from a kiddy store there.  I bought them and formed…

The A and S are not as nice at the pink H eh?

Recently at another Mothercare store, I found the letters L and E.

Cute?  The wooden plaque for L is actually for a boy’s room as the alphabets have pictures of dinosaurs, animals and insects.  The pink ones are all fairies.  So now the missing letter is Y.  Have to keep on looking to complete Ashley’s name.  It’s so hard to find simple things like this over here.  Perhaps I should just make one myself ^^

  1. Hi Barb – you can also get them in craft stores. I got a set for ashley and aidan at the craft store at The Gardens..but I’m sure you can find it elsewhere too..perhaps the craft store at One Utama.

Thanks Dinah. Will these places out 🙂

The pink H is still the nicest… but RM6 to me is rather pricey. I wonder how much do they cost before discount? Chloe saw this and told me she wants them too 😉

just like completing a puzzle…..haha…..and you are patience enough to scout for the letters one by one. I think you should make the letter ‘Y’ yourself.

Nice excuse to go shopping! 🙂 But I reckon with your skills…perhaps you may make a better ‘Y’.
