It has been a year since Ashley started her Mental Maths class and just like other subjects, it gets harder at each new level. She is now doing multiply and 4 digit additions with the abacus. Ashley told me that the maths is hard and she always make mistakes. When I reminded her of her Maths class on Saturday, she whined and said, “I want to DELETE the Maths class“….muahahahahahaha. I think this is the case of too much computer. I hope she doesn’t delete people from her life.
Having said that, you know how kids are…she would sometimes come home from school and tell me that she doesn’t want to friend so and so and then next day, she’ll say that so and so is her best friend. I hope she will know that many people will walk in and out of her life. Sometimes friendships don’t last and it is ok to feel sad or disappointed but only for a wee bit. There are always good friendships waiting to be discovered.
Kids always act like that, today said I hate you, a few mins later, I love you… Barb, wish u have a nice weekend.
I remember doing that in school “I don’t want to flen you already!”
That’s a very important lesson to be taught to the kids.

ur girl r great, can ‘tahan’ so long for the Mental maths.. my boy gives up after a total of 7 mths torture..he said he cant take it anymore…hahaha…so i ‘deleted’ it from his timetable..

hmmmm…i think if i sent my two boys for this Mental Math class i think i will be the one that said, can i delete it off? hahahhaha. I will more stress than the kids. 😛
Hahaha, so far my girl hasn’t apply any computer language in her life yet, though she hates her mental maths. But I’ll soon delete this subject from her schedule. She barely survives it.
LOL, I am chuckling to myself reading this. HOpefully she won’t say “I want to delete you mummy” when she is angry with you next time LOL!!
There is actually also someone in my life that I would like to delete forever. She is my SIL ( my elder brother’s wife).
kids are liddat.. fight and before you know it.. friends again. love n hate happens many times in a day 😀
