Elaine has been telling me about Chatimes but I only got to try the drinks there recently when one opened at Scott Garden near where I stay. Best of all, there is no queue at this one. Chatimes is the Premium Pearl Milk Tea chain from Taiwan which is mushrooming around KL now. Chatimes is extremely popular and I find it kinda odd because bubble teas have been around for quite a while. Many say that they have the original taste of tea, unlike the local bubble tea places. Anyway, I’m quite hooked right now. I don’t drink tea so I usually order their Ice Coffee with different types of jellies. Mmmm….yums.
My Ice Latte with Coffee Jelly
Hub’s favourite Taiwan Plum Ice Tea
Less Starbucks for me now 😉
Ooh I think I’ll love this cause I’m a crazy milk tea drinker. I always see a long queue at their outlets.
I have never try one before.. I went to Scott garden today and I actually saw Chatime. I would give it a try on my next visit to Scott Garden!!
we tried too last weekend at The Garden. I ordered Strawberry yogurt blended ice, but no one likes it. Shud take normal tea bubble instead.
It’s my latest addiction too! Like the red bean with pearl. Too bad the nearest place for me to buy is at Penang =_=
Chocolate pearl milk tea is my fav. That Taiwan plum ice tea looks so refreshing.
I actually quite like their Roasted Milk Tea. I’ll try the plum ice tea next time. 😀
heard so many good review on this chatime, but nvr got a chance to try it out yet, am not a pearl milk tea lover, so maybe will wanna try out the plum ice tea..
I just heard of chattimes today! and now you mentioned it… coincidence.. 🙂
I’m not a tea/coffee lover. But the way you described the drinks make me wanna grab one now. 🙂
As for tea, I only take those without sugar one, like green tea, puer, Jasmine tea and Chinese tea. I will go for coffee too, as I don like milk tea.
Nowadays, I still try to avoid drink milk tea or bubble tea especially imported from Taiwan.
We tried it recently too, after hearing so much about it. I found the taste very ordinary only, maybe cos I’m not a big fan of tea. Have you heard of Gong Cha? It’s very similar to Chatime too and we actually preferred that 🙂
I saw many ppl q-up for this… Haven’t try b4 yet.. Should be nice la..
I like the Taiwan Plum Tea too, very refreshing on a hot day! There are also a number of Chatime outlets opened in Sydney too. The one my local shopping centre is always busy on weekends.
Look like my cuppa tea, should drop by some of these days!
this is addictive and I have dropped my Nyonya Colours kopi panas for Chatime chilled drinks co NC’s beans were bitter recently.
My favourite topping is black pearls or coconut jelly 😀
Less Starbuck, but not less coffee… kekekeke! You still need your daily dose of caffeine, Barb.
P will always tell me…mummy, u need ur chattime juice..hahaha
so off we go to SP..our regular.
This is my all time favourite. Now I am about to redeem my free drinks since the card is fully stamped..LOL!!
Heard so much about this place and everytime when i pass by the one at Garden, OMG! It is always long long queue! Maybe i should try one day, but i am not a pearl tea person.
There is another one, Gong Tea, is it the same as this Chattime?
I still like the roasted black tea with pearl. Glad you managed to try Cha at last! 🙂
