Since Ashley loves ice-cream so much (which kid doesn’t eh?), I decided to make some yoghurt popsicles for her (and for me too) recently. So after I have finished doing some work around the house and also read the arginmax review, we headed out to the supermarket to buy a few cups of Nestle yoghurts.
some blueberries too.
Simmer the blueberries with some water and castor sugar. Next time, I think I would use honey instead of the sugar
Once the sugar has melted, mix everything with the yoghurt.
Pour the mixture into the daiso ice cream mould. I forgot to take a pic of the mould. I got this photo from http://thesweetspot.com.my. I find it very hard to take the popsicles out of the mould. Anyone has this problem?
This is how the yoghurt popsicle looks like. Not a very pretty sight but it tasted good 🙂 Healthy or not?
Let the hose water run from the top of the mould for a while then attempt to pull the ice-cream. If still very tight, let the water run through it again. I try that myself, it works.
I tried that but it doesn’t work and the popsicle would go soft very fast 🙁
apparently u have to soak the bottom of the mould in some tap water, then try to loosen it and take it out 🙂
Yummy blueberry yoghurt popsicle!
This one looks yummy! Yea very healthy too!
I have this mould but haven’t used it yet..hehe. It’s yummy and healthy too.
Looks good lol.
I bought a similar one from Daiso and had the same problem as yours when taking the popsicles out from the mould. I did try the method mentioned by Sheoh Yan but it does not work all the time.. 🙁
Just freeze the yoghurt? So simple….i wanna try.
can we skip cooking the fruits, I mean, just cook the castor sugar with water and then mix in the yogurt and fresh fruits?
yummy..yummy..yummy..fat free somemore. i got this mould but havent ‘ hoicheong ‘ yet!
Yummy! I bought another type of popsicle mould from Daiso too and that one is ok… the popsicle slides out easily. Btw, I’m curious to know why you need to cook the blueberries? The heat will destroy the vitamins. I would just dump them in uncooked… easier 🙂
hmm…the recipe i followed called for it. yeah you are right. next time i’ll just add honey into the yoghurt and dump the berries in too. no need to cook 🙂 actually i only cooked them for a short while but better to eat them fresh eh?
Looks GOOD and very healthy too.
Heard about Polka? THey recently had some egg free, diary free ice cream for sale in one of the organic shops. Reminded me of Ash and a few other blogger kids. Maybe can look it up for a change?
Looks simple…should try it one day! Thanks for sharing!
Yoghurt popsicle…nice treats! I must get some ice cream moulds from Daiso…
Tips: I saw from TV show, she made yoghurt popsicle too, her recipe she put in honey not sugar(hard to dissolve) and I think adding honey is for the ice cream to hold much better. And she used mini(very small) paper cups instead of the ice cream mould. Then chilled it in the freezer. How to eat it? she just tear off the paper cup and the popsicle turns out nicely.
looks yummy.. a much healthier alternative to ice cream.. and eggless too 🙂
does it melt too fast ?
very good idea and i will do this instead of bringing the kids to tutti fruitti all the time. i have mould way before i had kids and yes it was for me! i used to make for my own but when the kids came, i never thought of doing it for them. lol!
YUM!! Look very good. I am have the same question as Chin Nee, does it melt fast? Maybe i should try it next time. Thanks for sharing.
Oooh, this looks yummy!! If I were to do it, I will skip boiling the berries. I will just mix them with the yoghurt and directly pour them into the mould for freezing. Me too lazy hehehe…
Ooo..this is a good idea! Must really buy that mould from Daiso already! I love Nestle yoghurt too.
This look yummy and healthy, I am sure my kids will love it, they just love ice cream like Ashley 🙂
