On Thursday, hubs worked late and came home around 8.30pm. He didn’t have any dinner so he was hungry but he didn’t want to eat any noodles. I remember reading in Ann’s blog (http://2ann.blogspot.com/) about french toasts so I asked hubs if he would like to have some. Of course, he said yes and so I took out some leftover bread from the freezer and defrosted them. Whisked 3 eggs and added some sugar. Then I melted some butter in the pan and grilled the french toasts.
Guess you must be wondering why there is a bottle of bovril next to the toasts eh?
It’s hub’s family’s favourite – spreading Bovril onto the toast. Bizzare eh? His family has strange taste buds. They even like to mix bovril with a plate of plain chee cheong fun. I’ve blogged about that last time…hehehehe. Hubs also tried to introduce the bovril french toast to Ashley and luckily she likes it 🙂
I didn’t have any of the toasts that night because I usually don’t eat after 8pm 🙂 I read somewhere that we have to have a ‘Stop Eating After 8pm’ rule as one can gain weight easily due to the sleep helping chemicals that our bodies produce. I am too lazy to exercise on those treadmills so I try to follow this rule 😉
Bovril..my kids’ all time favourite…
Treadmill? my all time not favourite..haha… i got rid of it fast few years ago… lazy bones i m…
Strange leh, Bovril with french toast.
I heard about no eating after 6pm. Celebrity style.

But Bovril and bread is quite a funny combination!
