Since our friends want to try the good food in Ipoh, we tried to take them to the famous ones. First stop was the βBig Treeβs Footβ (called Tai Shu Keok in Cantonese) which is located at Pasir Pinji. What’s famous here? The freshly fried “fu pei” (beancurd skin). Sorry no photos as I was famished π Food was great but the place was kinda dirty. Hubs and our friends didn’t mind so I guess I’m the fussy one.Β After we had a rest at the hotel, we followed our friend to visit his aunt in Menglembu.Β His aunt treated us to dinner at one of the restaurants.Β Didn’t take any photos too.
Next day we had the Ipoh White Coffee at Sun Yuan Loong in Jalan Bendahara.Β This coffee shop belongs to the relatives of the famous Sin Yin Loong in Old Town π
A glass of ice white coffee…Mmmmmm
Chee cheong fun with mushroom sauce. A must-have each time we go back to Ipoh
Ashley enjoying her kaya/butter toast
For lunch before we left forKL, we had the famous Loh Wong Beansprout Chicken.Β Β Our friends love it and insist that we should have the Beansprout Chicken πΒ That’s all about our food adventure trip to Ipoh.Β Next time we should stay for 2 nights in order to enjoy more good food π
