what we did on sunday

We went out real early on Sunday and head to Midvalley for the Maybank Treats Fair. Sunday was the last day and by 11am, the exhibition hall where the fair was held, was in total madness.  We walked around a few times, trying to decide what to redeem.   Alas, I couldn’t find what I like 🙁  As soon as hubs saw this, he knew he had to get it for his princess 😛

Unfortunately, we cannot use any points to redeem the V Smile Pocket.  However, we can buy it at a discounted price of rm200 plus.  About a year ago when hubs checked this portable game console out at ToysRus, it was selling at around rm400.   This V Smile Pocket is fun and helps kids to learn skills like spelling, counting and problem solving.

  7. Nowadays toys are really not cheap. But I must say some are really worth the price especially those educational ones where our kids will learn something good out of it.

Hmm, this V smile pocket looks interesting and educating. I think investing on this portable game console is better than gameboy, don’t you think so? My girl has been pestering me to get her a game console.

Nice toy! VTech toys are quite good. We’ve been contemplating on getting one too (the one that connects to the tv) but everytime we look at the price of the “software”, we get put off haha. The V Smile Pocket you got for Ashley is so much better as it’s portable 🙂

  11. Hayley says:

I must say the kids nowadays are very lucky! there’s no such thing during my time.. hehe 😉

  12. health freak says:

Wooo, the VTech toy is SOOOOO cool. I’ll bet my girls will love it. But pretty expensive eh? That day, I almost bought a Besta touch-screen Chinese-English translator for myself – the yellow banana so that I can teach Alycia. But it’s RM1k!! So didn’t buy 🙁

  13. Mummy Gwen says:

Wah…nice leh the VTech toy. This toy can occupied Ashley for hours and Mummy can have more ‘me’ time..hehe.

There is a portable V-Tech toy that does maths only but no colour which is RM100 from Isetan Gardens, Tessa has it & has used it extensively. It has games to do with maths like matching objects, sequencing, simple addition etc & lots more, can’t remember, logic stuff. It’s a good buy, not too expensive, yet very effective. Except that all these gadgets are not good for their eyes la!

  24. Maychew says:
