That’s where we went ๐ย Did I tell you that I love Malacca?ย Just can’t get enough of this charming UNESCO World Heritage city which is only 1.5 hours away from KL.ย What I love about Malacca is its quirky shops, guesthouses, art galleries, coffee houses and restaurants.ย This trip of ours was really a short one.ย Wish it was longer though. ย ย Going to bore all of you with a few posts on what we did there….hehehhehehe.ย First stop …
Hubs insisted that we visit the zoo this time around.ย We didn’t tell Ashley that we were planning to go and she only knew about it just before we turned into the zoo.ย Her remarks?ย “Oh I am so happy today.ย Thanks for taking me to the zoo” ๐
This zoo is huge and the animals are placed near one another so visitors need not walk very far to see them.
Ashley is thrilled that we got to see the Orang Utan this time.ย Sorry for the small pic.ย ย That’s the closest I could get.ย Here’s a mommy Orang Utan with her baby.
Another one of her favourites – The Flamingoes because they are PINK!
The little girl with her most trusted tool – The Map.ย “Where are the giraffes mom?“
The highlight of the zoo trip – A ride on the horse.ย The happy look on her face is priceless! Ashley insisted on going for the ride and I can’t believe my lil one is so brave.ย She used to be scared of the Horse Carouselย ๐ย She was sad when the ride ended and we had to bid farewell to the horse.
After spending 2 hours at the 54-acre zoo, my legs started to feel numb from all the walking.ย Though it’s good exercise, this is supposed to be a holiday and I wasn’t expecting this kind of ‘relaxation’.ย Next up……Malacca city, what we ate and the beautiful place where we stayed.
So nice la Barbara, you can visit Malacca often cause its very near.. How I wish to visit Malacca again! I miss the chicken rice balls….
Ashley is so stylish in her white blouse and jeans~~
Can see she really enjoyed this zoo trip from her excited face on horse, kekeke! My girl is also asking me to bring her to zoo during this school holidays. Sadly, papa has turned her down.
she looked like she was tickled by the ride ! did she sing out loud while riding the horse-y? ๐
:-))) I love melacca too. Your 2 hours walk is well worth in exchange to Ashley’s happy smiles :-).
