Hotel Puri, Melaka

This time around, we opt to stay in Hotel Puri, a lovely boutique hotel on Heeren Street (Jln Tun Tan Cheng Lock)  which is just next to Jonker Street.  The 50-room hotel is a beautifully restored pre-war building. It has retained almost all its original fittings like the timber carvings, the mosaic floorings and etc.  I heart Hotel Puri.  The room is comfortable, pleasant and affordably priced too.

Don’t ask me what she’s doing here.  She just sat down and started chanting “Ohm Ohm Ohm” slaps forehead.

Checking out the bed.  We got the Deluxe room.

We walked past this Garden cafe on the way to our room.  It’s at the open courtyard.  Beautiful.

Breakfast is served here, at the other open courtyard.

No price for guessing where we are going to stay when we go back to visit Malacca again 😉

This hotel sure looks nice. Can share how much per night?
The room looks a little on the small side tho. Does the bed take up most of the room space?

ours is rm186 per room. you can check out its website – http://www.hotelpuri.com/. yes, the room we had was pretty small and the bed took up most of the space. hotel puri is different from the regular chain hotels 🙂
