In just a few more days, we will usher in the Year of the Dragon. I am so looking forward to seeing my relatives and friends. Lots of catching up to do and feasting on sumptuous food.

This year has been an okay one for me with some minor ups and downs. As 2011 come to a close, I feel grateful for how this year has turned around. What am I thankful for this year?
I am thankful for the opportunity to spend some time with my besties. Though the time we spent was short, seeing them really brought me lots of joy. They are so special in my life. Eventhough we are all busy with our own lives, we still stay in touch whenever we can. Now, don’t get me wrong that I would be mad if they didn’t. I’m not that sensitive 
My dear friends know what I am thinking even when I don’t say anything. Some people make presumptions from what they think they see and misjudge me but that’s not important. I know my friends won’t do that.
I am thankful for my very dear buddies who have kept me sane all year. They have endured my crazy rantings and mood swings (online and offline). You know who you are *wink*
I am thankful for my dear readers who have been visiting my blog often. I really appreciate that you took the time to come over and read my posts. Thank you for walking alongside me in my crazy journey as a wife and mother.
Last but not least, I am grateful for my family, especially my husband for all that he does for our family. I am grateful for my beautiful daughter who has grown by leaps and bounds in the past year.
My mom woke up at around 5am to make these colourful glutinuous rice balls this morning. The whole house was filled with the aroma of pandan leaves which she added into the pot of sugar water. I just had some rice balls and Ashley only wants the pink ones, of course. Have you had your ‘tang yuen’ already?

Have an Egg-cellent long weekend peeps 
We usually make a trip back to Pomelosville for this yearly Taoist festival but this year we decided to go to the Nan Tian Gong Temple in Ampang. After being stuck in a traffic jam for over an hour, we finally reached the temple. Gosh, Jalan Pudu, Jalan Tun Razak and Jalan Ampang were so freaking jam on a Sunday. Unbelievable. Hubs was saying that we should have just driven back to Ipoh and visit the Tow Boo Keong Temple Would you believe it that we only spent 5 minutes inside the Nan Tian Gong Temple? It was packed with devotees and the air was excessively smoky due to the burning of joss sticks. We quickly went out and prayed from outside. Ashes from the burning of the prayer paraphernalia were flying everywhere too. I think next year, we better go back to Tow Boo Keong Temple as it is more spacious Here are some photos taken at the temple.

Thank God Friday is here. This weekend is a busy one for me. Besides the usual housework, I am helping a friend to look up the Baggage Porter Jobs as well as wrapping presents. There is so much to do but so little time. Not that I am complaining Do you have anything fun planned? Hope y’all have a great weekend.
Hubs got a new phone recently and for quite some time, he was busy checking out the ringtones to download. He finally found a few he likes and downloaded them. So, when I call him using my mobile, this is what comes on.
Can you imagine what would happen when he is with his friends and I call him? Bet they would be rolling on the floor.
A week before the Raya holidays, we received a package at home. I was so surprised to see a big package from dear Sheoh Yan and Yvonne. These two lovely ladies are my ‘Virtual Friends’. We got to know each other through blogging and now we have become friends though we have not met each other before. They sent Ashley some beautiful outfits. How thoughtful of them.
