Everyday, around lunch time and dinner time, you would hear me saying these words :-
Faster
Put the spoon in your mouth
Chew
Swallow
Eat
I would say these words over and over again for the next hour or so or until the missy finishes her food. Stressful eh? I don’t understand why it is so difficult for her to eat. Sometimes, she would be dreaming and keep the food in her mouth. Aaarrrggghhh……I can feel some pimples popping up on my face due to stress. Better look for some acne treatments soon.
HAHAHAHAHA !!! .
I think it’s more like :
faster
put the spoon IN YOUR MOUTH !
CHEW !!!
SWALLOW !!!!!!
EAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not only acne treatments, we need blood pressure reducer pill too !!! 🙁
Yeah..I also don’t understand why they like to keep food in their mouth. 🙁
Aiyooo mine recently started to develop this habit too. She can even keep water in her mouth and try to talk with her mouth all puffed up -_-
I think all kids go through this stage ya.. keeping food in the mouth hoh, actually they suck all the ‘juice’ then feel too dry to swallow le..
why not try something different. totally dont say anything. or say something like.. i want u to eat ur food. by 1.30 pls finish cos at 1.35, i m wearing my shoes to go out. when u finish, u will go out with me, if not u stay at home?
My younger boy likes to keep food in his mouth, just like me when I was younger :p Haha, like mother like son….Don’t think I’ve the patience to feed him, so just delegate to my maid :p
Sounds so familiar Barb.. LOL.. I am sure many moms around the world repeat these words at mealtimes.
LOL…thank god i dont face this problem when son was young. He loves food & will finish them all in no time 😛
This is the reason why I always prefer to feed. When I feed her, in under 10 mins, everything sapu clean. If she eats on her own, i think i only need to give her 1 meal… cos she can eat from morning to night haha!
hahahhahah..Fearles also like to store the food in his mouth and day dream, unless he is hungry, then he will finish the food in no time.
hahhahahaa. I behaved like Ashley when I was a child. But I think this is very common among kids. So relax lah.
how bout ‘dont dream’? my mom used to say tat. =)
almost the same i shout out every day to my kid. LOL!!!
haha..can imagine what u are going through..
Reminds me of my youngest nephew..my mom said seeing him eat is like we are forcing him to eat, he makes it as if eating his meals is so “sun fu”.
you r definately not alone in this! I said these words every meal too! I have to said these to 3 kids! can u imagine how tiring it was?!
With HQ, it’s also same same *sob sob*
