If you don’t know already, I’m a shoeholic. I love buying shoes and I usually have a few pairs in my shoe closet that I haven’t worn yet. Yesterday, I decided to wear a pair of shoes which has been in my closet for over a year.
This was what greeted me. The whole sole came off. uwawawawawawawawawawawawawa. Do you think the cobbler can save my beloved brown suede shoes? uwawawawawawawawawawawa. I think I need to buy more shoes to mend my broken heart.
Yes, that’s the only cure for your broken heart – shopping for more shoes! 😀
i think you should send this post to clarks.com
of all, I wouldn’t think the stitches will give way. I always looks for stitched sides instead of glue but looks like stitches don’t last too eh ?
I know how it feels… Feel so wasted to throw the whole pair when only a side is broken….
Gosh..Clark shoes? Cannot be so ul-tar.. but then i heard if shoes bought and not worn, they open like buaya mouth one! so whatever we buy, wear..dont keep… by the way, i am also a shoecoholic!
Hahaha, another reason to shop for a new pairs…. Mr.Cobbler should be able to stitch back and return ‘stronger’.
Normally shoes kept for long time tend to have the sole comes off…. So, don’t keep. Beli, terus pakai~
eh, have not seen this pair before! nice ! but clarks quality had dropped alot. not sure whether clarks will do anything if you send back to them. i sent one pair to a few clarks outlet and they told me, “the material is like that, cannot do anything” 🙁 maybe can try the cobbler next to 7-11. he’s good but ask him to stitch darker colour.
what do you mean you haven’t seen this pair before. you asked me to give this to you, remember?
actually, think u need a new shoe cabinet – not new pair of shoe(s) 😀
Oh gosh….never seen a shoe fall apart like that before! But given that it is Clarks…maybe something can be done by Clarks? Else bring it to a cobbler for assessment. Hope you get some good news.
i believe you can bring it back to clarks..even without the receipt. they cant deny its not their product n they can see its new. *Ie: u have not worn before right*
New shoes cannot keep. Must wear them once a while else they will ‘rot’ in the shoe rack. I have a pair too. Bought but never wear. Finally, when I wanted to wear, the shoes rosak already. 🙁
hahaha…sorry to laugh at you but the way you cried really sound so cute. I think ar…the cobbler tepi jalan can mend for you gua, last time I always go for them.
‘old one no go, new one no come’……
More new shoes!~~~~~~
apa pulak jadi macam ini? clarks some more!! Mend already also not that nice….
What made the sole came off like this, one become two.. try to bring back to Clark to make a complaint.
oh dear! I would be heartbroken too!
I learned my lesson the hard way too (just like in your case here)… shoes must be worn and cannot be kept! Mine also fell apart after more than a year of being left untouched 🙁
Hahahahahaha…..like you, I am a shoeholic and this also happened a few times to me.
When I went to the cobbler, he told me, “Mengapa susah sangat kasi bikin, buang saja dan beli baru!”
See, even some cobblers could not be bother! Yes, don’t keep the shoes, wear them after buying.
Huh…I’ve never seen shoes came off from the soles like this. *shocked* I hope you can save it.
I learn a lesson, never keep shoe for too long and must wear them often.
I remember i wear a pair of heel to dinner, hardly wear, the most only wear twice and the shoe decide to “die” on me when i was at the dinner!! Faint?
wah…what a surprise!!!
I agree with Annie Q, never ever keep shoes in the cabinet for too long. I encountered what you shared here too. So, wear your favourite shoes a many times as you like.
