**Update **
Missy has started her skateboarding lessons in Bukit Jalil Skatepark. If you want to know more, visit my latest post here.
Missy has always enjoyed playing with rollerblades and skateboard. After her blue penny board became too small for her, we got her another skateboard made of wood from Sports Direct. She has been playing with it at home but there is not much space for her to practice. So yesterday, she requested that we bring her to the park to practice her skateboard. The normal park that we go for running does not have a proper skating area for skaters. Then I remember that we have seen a few skaters at the Bukit Jalil Stadium so we decided to check it out.
After parking our car at the parking lot, we walked towards the football / hockey practice area. We were surprised to see The Skatepark which has 2 large compounds for skateboarders to hone their skills in jumping and flipping. What a lovely facility we have so close to home.
Missy spent over an hour trying to skateboard here. She wished that there is someone who can teach her skateboarding but alas, she does not have the time to go for lessons as her schedule is quite packed. I guess in the meantime, she will just have to stick to learning from Youtube and practicing her skills at the park.
