Gosh, I just realized that I have been neglecting my blog. It has been more than 2 weeks since I last updated it. Well, in just a few more days, we are going say goodbye to 2024. Time flies and what a year it has been. It has been a rollercoaster ride with some unexpected twists and turns. It also has some moments that I would like to forget.
2024 has been a year of challenges, from family matters to personal struggles like work stress. It’s quite tough to find a moment to breathe. This year leaves me exhausted, more on the emotion side. So yes, I am officially over 2024.
Amidst the chaos, the challenges, and the stress, there’s been one silver lining that I can’t ignore. I’ve made a positive change in my life (since the lockdown) that has left me feeling better than ever. That change is none other than exercising through walking.
It might sound simple, but it’s been the one thing that’s helped me to navigate this tough year. I have come out feeling healthier and more energized. Guess what? I lost weight in the process!
So, while 2024 has had its ups and downs, I’m walking into 2025 with a renewed sense of self. Sure 2025 may have its own challenges but I am ready to let go of things that I can’t control and make space for things that bring me joy.
Gratitude for the Good Stuff
Even though 2024 wasn’t exactly a walk in the park, it wasn’t without its moments of gratitude. There were friendships that grew stronger and lessons learned. So, here’s to 2025, a year with fresh opportunities, a chance to reset, and the hope that it’ll be a better year for all of us. Let’s leave behind the stress, the worries, and step into the new year with open arms, ready to embrace whatever it brings.
