Stelvio Bukit Antarabangsa

These days with missy not here, our weekends are free. At times, I don’t even know what to do especially during the Deepavali long weekend. All these while, my weekend revolved around spending time with missy, grocery shopping and cooking her food on Sunday to bring back to her dorm.

With so much time in our hands, I asked hubs to go to Stelvio in Bukit Antarabangsa for some fresh air. This enchanting place is very picturesque.  My friend, Elaine brought me there a few years ago to have a look. It has a spectacular view of the Kuala Lumpur Skyline and the sunset. This recreational spot in Bukit Antarabangsa is also a favourite spot for runners due to its challenging and steep climbs.

It is called Stelvio as it’s inspired by the famous Stelvio Pass in the Italian Alps that’s also well known for its challenging cycling routes. As hubs has not been there before, I thought it’s a good time for him to check it out.

We arrived at about 6pm and the place is already filled with people sitting on the grass. Some came with camping chairs and food/drinks to watch the sunset.

This is the first photo I took before walking down the slope. The blazing sun is getting ready to set.

This is the path to walk down. It was easy walking down the slopes and we walked all the way to the end where there’s a small lake. Then we turned back and walked back up.

Climbing up the steep slope is no joke but good for the heart.

I stopped a midpoint to take a photo of the KL Skyline.

Pretty right? If you love watching sunset, maybe you can check this place out. Just waze Stelvio Bukit Antarabangsa. Be sure to go early to get a nice spot to sit and relax. Parking cost RM2 and there are several food trucks around.
