So we took a short break back to Ipoh over the weekend (again) as hub’s brother and wife are back for a vacation and they were in Ipoh for a few weeks. We stayed in Bedrock Hotel Ipoh which is our favourite hotel and as usual, it didn’t disappoint. We had a comfortable and good night sleep in our favourite suite room.
What I want to share this time is The Tea Story Cafe where we had our coffee and dessert. This is the first time we visited The Tea Story Cafe and we ordered the Durian Mille Crepe and Chempedak Mille Crepe for my in-laws to try. Of course, I did not eat any because I am following the Keto way of eating. My in-laws and my husband said the Mille Crepes are simply delicious. According to them, the texture is so soft and creamy. They were very delicious. I can smell the aromatic durian and chempedak as soon as the crepes were served on our table. We even ordered an extra plate of Durian mille crepe because everyone wanted more.

Here are the yummylicious Durian Mille Crepe and the Chempedak Mille Crepe. We ordered Cappuccino too and they are really good coffee.
The Tea Story Cafe is also very popular with their premium tea (well, of course!). They have many types of black, green, wellness and floral tea.
We ordered the flavorful floral tea and check out this fanciful special teapot that sits on top of the cup. I am more of a coffee drinker but I did try a cup of the floral tea and it is so soothing. I think I am beginning to like this type of tea.
Besides crepes, cakes, tea and coffee, this cafe also serves a range of lip-smacking food such as grilled chicken avocado on toast, Australian beef burger, sweet potato fries, aglio olio, parfait and more. Check out their FB page for more.
The Tea Story Cafe is located at De Garden Ipoh which is opposite Jusco Kinta. I will definitely be back to try their food.
