Easy Keto Waffle Recipe

Ok, I have finally jumped on the Chaffle wagon.  Bought myself a waffle maker last week *chuckle*  What is chaffle? If you are following low carb or Keto, you have probably heard about it.   Chaffle is actually keto waffle but made with cheese and egg.  You can use parmesan, mozzarella or cream cheese.  You can also add some almond flour and baking powder or omit them.

Below is the easy Chaffle or Keto Waffle recipe:-

    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 1/2 cup cheese
    • 3 tablespoon of Almond flour (can omit)
    • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder (can omit)
    • 1 tablespoon of Erythritol.  I bought mine here.  (can omit)
    • Cook until crisp. The chaffle gets crispier as it cools.

Finally…my Chaffles. They smell and taste so good!

I can even eat it as a sandwich!

This is going to be my comfort food.  Ever since I discovered Chaffles, I do not yearn for bread so much.   You know, many people who are stressed out turn to eating for comfort.  Some people would feel a lot better after having some cakes or a chocolate chip cookie.  Research has shown that constant exposure to stress can also trigger a potentially dangerous urge to indulge in rich comfort foods.
