So I was scrolling Facebook recently and spotted this. They are the soft, colourful tie tails or hair doodles that girls love a lot in late 70s and 80s. This brings back so much memories for me. My mum bought me a packet and she would tie my hair every morning into 2 ponytails. Then I would choose the colours of the doodles that I like such as pink, red and purple, and added them onto my ponytails. I can’t remember where my mum got them from.
I used to be so proud of them because I was the only one in school with tie tails *chuckle*. Alas, my happiness was short-lived because the school prefect told me that I was not allowed to use those colourful tie tails for school. I could only use blue, white or black because those were the only colours allowed. Bummer.
I cannot remember if I used them anymore after that. Wish I can get my hands on them today, just for memory sake.
