Missy loves to buy little plushies or key chains with fluffy toy animals, and hang them on her backpack. Besides her backpack, she also has crossbody bags which are also decorated with key chains.
Before the Labubu craze began, I thought only missy is into the practice of attaching soft toys to bags because she loves them. So when the Labubu and Crying Baby craze kicked in, I began to see people hanging the toys on their bags, even designer shoulder bags. So, it’s not a fleeting trend. As a matter of fact, it has become a staple in Gen Z fashion.
This is missy with her shoulder bag that’s adorned with an eclectic mix of soft toys such as the Miffy bunny which was a gift from her uni mate, a Capybara with a knapsack from her uncle, a little cake soft toy and a hand sanitizer gift from my friend. Quirky right? She plans to add more plushies to the bag. Thank God she’s not into Labubu or Cry Baby, or else, we won’t be able to see the bag as it will be covered by all those big soft toys.
