When I was in MyTown Shopping Mall over the weekend, I decided to check out Inside Scoop. This ice-cream shop is missy’s favourite but on that day, she didn’t want to have any ice-cream. As I have read an article in the newspaper recently about Inside Scoop’s range of ice-cream that is suitable for the diabetics, I just wanted to see what options they have. Boy was I surprised to know that they have a zero sugar chocolate ice cream which is made with cocoa and sugar substitutes (maltitol, xylitol, erythritol and steviol).

I got myself the Choc Zero (Zero Sugar Chocolate Ice Cream) scoop. It was so delicious!
Finally we can have low carb or keto ice-cream in Malaysia. All you can eat without the guilt! I think their low carb ice-cream is now only available at Sweet Escape by Inside Scoop and not at their regular Inside Scoop outlet. On the downside, Choc Zero is considered as their Double Premium Flavor hence it is pretty expensive at RM12.10 a scoop. Well, I guess it’s ok to have it once in a while.
Another option is making your own low carb or keto ice-cream at home eventhough you do not have an ice-cream machine. Check it out here. I have made them many times and they are so good!
