Mabuhay Laguna Restaurant Authentic Philippine Cuisine In Kuala Lumpur

We went to Petaling Street again recently to look around.  Brought my brother in law to visit RexKL which was formerly a cinema as he wanted to look at how the old cinema was back in the days. While walking around Petaling Street looking for food, we stumbled upon a quaint restaurant that serves Filipino and Balinese cuisines. Mabuhay Laguna looks like a home based eatery. It is quite narrow and has about 10 tables.

Besides Philippine specialties, this restaurant serves many pork dishes that come with rice, pork knuckles, chicken, seafood, steak, local delights and many more. I ordered a plate of mixed pork platter (Babi Guling) without any rice. It consists of fried pork rinds, crackling pork that tasted like siew yoke and flavourful pork slices that are to be eaten with the sauces. I think one of them is sambal and it was really spicy!

Ashley did not order anything as she was rather full from eating a snack earlier and my brother-in-law had a bowl of clay pot noodle besides RexKL before we stumbled upon this restaurant. So, I was the only one eating there and could not order other dishes to try that day. If you are in KL and would like to look up this restaurant, here is the address:-
