Can’t believe Chinese New Year celebration is over. Things are slowly returning to normal after a busy February month. Work has been crazy after the CNY break. I also spent a few days back in Ipoh again after the first week of celebration to surprise my friend who came back for holiday. We have earlier planned to meet in KL but not sure of the date. She went back to Ipoh to reunite with our other friends who are staying there.
I really gave them a surprise and it was fun. The few days were spent chit-chatting to catch up, non-stop eating and drinking coffee. We even made time to go for a hike at Kledang Hill in Menglembu where we had to wake up at 6.00am. We also went for a one day trip to Penang by taking the KTM Komuter train at 6.20am. We reached Butterworth at about 8.20am and took a 15 min ferry ride to Penang. We spent the whole day eating, shopping, coffee and taking photos.

This is our favourite noodle stall in Ipoh that is near the Majestic. Just love the crunchy sar kot liew, fishballs, tofu and fried beancurds.
Although the few days were tiring for us, we got to make lots of memories and and our hearts are full.
