So during the Movement Control Order, I have been cooking daily. I have never cooked so much in my life. As soon as I settle down to do some online work after making myself a cup of coffee, it is time to prepare for lunch. The cycle repeats in the evening. So far I have cooked lots of noodles, boiled soup, made potato pancakes, sandwiches, pizza, cooked Maggi Mee Murtabak after watching a funny video online and many more. One thing good about cooking during MCO is that missy gets to learn how to cook too. She has been cooking some of her own meals under my supervision of course.
We have ordered McDonalds, Subway and Texas Chicken so far. I told missy that we would only order delivery once a week and not spend unnecessarily. Usually GrabFood prices are higher than the price at the restaurant so it is really not worth it to spend the extra.
My sister wanted missy to have some cakes during this MCO and she ordered 3 boxes of cakes for her from Cake Time.
There is a coffee cake, mint cake and marble cake. Of course missy enjoyed eating them as she has been having bread everyday for breakfast. She’s a lucky kid!
Last week, I ordered a rack of grill ribs from my friend, Stephanie. The ribs are so flavorful and tender. She also gave us some kimchi to try. I did not have any because I am not very fond of spicy and sour kimchi. Hubs said it was delicious.
