The Bag Of A Gen Z

Missy loves to buy little plushies or key chains with fluffy toy animals, and hang them on her backpack. Besides her backpack, she also has crossbody bags which are also decorated with key chains.

Before the Labubu craze began, I thought only missy is into the practice of attaching soft toys to bags because she loves them. So when the Labubu and Crying Baby craze kicked in, I began to see people hanging the toys on their bags, even designer shoulder bags. So, it’s not a fleeting trend. As a matter of fact, it has become a staple in Gen Z fashion.

This is missy with her shoulder bag that’s adorned with an eclectic mix of soft toys such as the Miffy bunny which was a gift from her uni mate, a Capybara with a knapsack from her uncle, a little cake soft toy and a hand sanitizer gift from my friend. Keto Cookies For Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is a time for families to be together and chowing down on all the good food such as CNY cookies. As usual, I don’t get to enjoy the delicious cookies such as kuih kapit, bees comb, butter cookies and etc. because they are not keto-friendly. So how do I satisfy my cookie cravings? I bought keto cookies of course.

I quickly placed my order a few weeks before Chinese New Year from my usual place – BreadandBetter on Shopee. Although I am not a big fan of chocolate cookies, these are better than not having any cookies to eat at all. Would love it if they can come out with butter or almond keto cookies.

On my birthday, my friend gifted me with 2 jars of keto cookies too. One is keto dark choc chip cookies and the other is keto chocolate chip cookies.

My dear friend, Elaine baked me some keto peanut cookies using stevia. She’s a pro at making peanut cookies and she’s always make them for her family and friends. For me, she has to use a different method to make the keto peanut cookies as they are not easy to roll up into balls because of different ingredients. It took her double the work as she has to ensure that they stick and she put them into cookie molds for baking. I am so lucky to be able to eat some peanut cookies for CNY.

My Two Crazies

I haven’t been updating about the two crazies at home. They are still naughty as usual, especially Sheldon. Recently there are some stray cats roaming around my street and a few of them have been occupying my neighbour’s house as it’s vacant at the moment.

Of course the crazies cannot stand seeing the cats around.

See the head popping out from the balcony? The cat was looking at them or just trying to tease them since it knows that they can’t get to it.

These 2 were sitting in this position looking at the cat. Cooper often has this shocking look on his face. Maybe it’s just how this Siberian Husky breed looks at people. Sheldon is also a Siberian husky but his eyes are not as big as Cooper’s.

This poor boy was so frightened last night from all the fireworks and firecrackers that started from about 9.30pm until 11.30pm. He was howling so I went out and sat with him, patting him gently. A mama gotta do what a mama gotta do. Cooper was more steady and didn’t show signs of distress.
