I saw this quote posted by @fuckologyofficial and it got me thinking. I love love love doing things alone. I enjoy the quiet time by myself. I can eat at a restaurant by myself, watch a movie, go shopping and even exercise all by myself.
When I am alone, I can decide what I want to do, where I want to go without having to check with another person or wait for them.
Maybe it’s because I am older now and I appreciate the quiet time I spend with myself.

I have just discovered that this new range of clothing from H&M. It is a collaboration with No Fear, the American lifestyle brand that was very popular in the mid 90’s and early aughts. The No Fear X H&M Collab is focused on a skate-inspired streetwear collection. How cool is that!

Ashley is a huge fan of anime. I am surprised that she become hooked on Anime shows. She has watched many anime/manga shows since the lockdown started last year. The only show I know is Demonslayer because she had asked to buy the Demonslayer T-shirt from Uniqlo as soon as the limited edition Manga UT Demon Slayer graphic t-shirts were available for sale.
Not too long ago, Uniqlo has the Jujutsu Kaisen range that consisted of graphic T-shirts and bags. So Ashley wanted the pocketable bag and again I went to the Uniqlo website to place the order as soon as the range was released. Hands were trembling again as I tried to quickly add the bag to the cart because anime-related items are highly popular and will be gone within minutes upon release. Luckily I managed to grab the white Jujutsu Kaisen pocketable bag. It cost RM39.90 and we opt for pickup from the Uniqlo store as delivery is RM20 *roll eyes*
The things a mother has to do for her anime-obsessed child. She’s very happy with the bag and has been bringing it with her when she goes out.
The weekend was packed with activities for missy because she is fully vaccinated and can go out to do what she loves. She has been waiting for this day for so long, after having stayed at home since April. On Thursday which was the Deepavali holiday, she met up with friends at the mall (with me on tow of course). Then on Friday morning, she went to practice her skateboarding with some new friends.
She got to skate on one of the girl’s Cruiser Yamba skateboards and she enjoyed it very much. It is different from the one she is using for training. The Yamba skateboard is great for travelling and makes less noise on the concrete/paved roads.

On Saturday morning, her skateboarding lesson resumed. She’s happy that she gets to practice with her coach again. Luckily she still remembers her tricks and didn’t lose her confidence.
A busy weekend for missy and a tiring weekend for her mom!
So I was watering my plants one evening and I spotted these 2 clinging to the leaves of my plants. I was curious why they did not fly away when I was watering the plants and took a closer look.
They were too busy to pay notice to me *chuckle*. That’s really a “National Geographic” moment!
A tradition that I started a couple of years ago, I always try to take a photo of missy in Halloween costume eventhough there is no trick-o-treating. It’s fun to think of some creative ways to dress up on this spookalicious day. Since Squid Game is trending now, I came up with a Squid Game costume and got her to dress up as the Squid Game doll. I used an orange paper bag and got her to wear it over a yellowish t-shirt. Then I tied her hair up in two ponytails. I superimposed her photo onto the Squid Game image that I found online

I do have a problem now with all the accessories I have been buying. I don’t have any space to store them. The photos below were taken before I started buying a lot from Tuliz. So now, there are like at least 40 pairs of new earrings that I cannot fit into the acrylic earrings storage box. I know I know, I am a shopaholic! I should take a photo of how I am keeping them right now.
This standing earrings storage box was gifted to me by my cousin-in-law. It is great for me to see all my earrings. However, this box cannot store earrings like big hoops. So now, I have to look for bigger storage boxes. This is what I call a First World Problem!
